Drei Strategien für den Weltuntergang
Open-air scenes from entropy
Amidst the universal pursuit of chaos, we ask ourselves: What are we holding on to? In a series of three 20-minute open-air episodes, we confront the excessive demands of the crisis and invite you to join us in reflecting on how we can preserve our world, and on what gives us stability in the face of so many threats.
‘Exitterra’, an immersive test run for departures and arrivals, makes a tempting offer.
Have you ever considered leaving your troubles behind? Why not move on now and lay the foundations for a better society? We still have a few places available.
‘Landeteam Erde’ (mask theatre) moves forward in courageous depression, permanent fear and natural madness. Caught between panic, self-hypnosis, grief and euphoria, three individuals try to forget the approaching end and find a way forward together. Landeteam Erde tells the story of the tireless search for hope in a time of upheaval.
In ‘Wilde Hilde’ (walkact), we meet the person who will save us from the end of the world and show us how to dance, defecate and urinate properly. She speaks through her body, embodying concentrated solidarity. This six-legged walk act puts an end to the patriarchy and celebrates the fact that it’s finally over. Some people are allowed to look up her skirt.
Please note that the number of participants for the ‘Exitterra’ segment is limited. Please register in advance at r.saeidow@hfs-berlin.de. You will then receive further information by email. Please bring your smartphone and your own headphones. The other two parts are freely accessible.
Students from the 49th year of the Contemporary Puppetry course at HfS ‘Ernst Busch’ Berlin will be performing.
