Workshop
Das Unsichtbare sichtbar machen
with Tineola Theater
Don’t just consume – be creative on your mobile, iPad, or computer! No prior knowledge is required, only an interest in visualization and the connection between science, art, and digital art. The workshop provides inspiration and guidance on how to create a visual presentation on any topic. Our example demonstrates how scientific content can be processed creatively. This can be used in theater, as well as in school or lecture presentations. The workshop follows the performance “Big and Small Worlds” and focuses on biology in this case. The goal is to translate scientific discoveries into an understandable language.
Everything will be largely improvised: We will draw on an iPad, tablet, or smartphone, but also on paper, and combine it with sound, music, and acting. We deliberately simplify to focus on the essential facts. The aim is to create a short video presentation and possibly a clip for social media at the end.
The workshop is aimed at adults. Participation is possible from the age of 12. As space is limited, please register in advance at pr.kuenstlerhaus@stadt.nuernberg.de. The participation fee is 10.00 Euros – please pay in cash on-site.
On Saturday, 24 May at 2 pm and Sunday, 25 May at 6:30 pm, the Tineola Theatre presents its production “Große und kleine Welten” at Theater Salz+Pfeffer.
