Finally, they are back in Erlangen! Mrs Cow, Mr Wolf, Mrs Cat and Mr Sparrow have opened a hotel to give meaning to their twilight years: The Grand Hotel Grimm. However, the spirits of the elderly ladies and gentlemen are kept on their toes by unforeseen events. Illustrious creatures from the world of Grimm’s fairy tales check in and a story of touching life confessions and animalistic fun unfolds.

After “Die Berliner Stadtmusikanten”, “Sag mal geht’s noch?” and “Vier Millionäre”, the popular series about the animal residents of a retirement home is now complete. With Daniel and Regina Wagner’s usual charming puppetry, the unique puppets by Mechtild Nienaber, numerous bizarre occurrences and witty dialogues, the final part promises to be an entertaining evening at the theatre.

Theater Zitadelle – Regina, Ralf and Daniel Wagner – tells stories that make you laugh out loud but are also thought-provoking. In addition to presenting numerous productions in their own theatres in Berlin Spandau and the Bergmann Kiez, the ensemble also performs at festivals and on many large and small stages in Germany and abroad.
