Lake Life

“Lake Life” is an immersive performance for mixed-age audiences. Hosted in a spectacular scenery, “Lake Life” is a sci-fi fantasy, a dreamlike world where every transformation is possible and the boundaries of the human are expanded. Can we liquefy ourselves? How much can we change? How do we connect with the world and with each other? “Lake Life” is a collaborative game, a puzzle and a celebration – changeable, freely invented and very real. Within guided encounters the audience blur the line between imaginary and real – celebrating the potentials of deep imagination and altered self-perception. “Lake Life” offers a platform for diverse encounters and exchange, specifically tailored for an audience inclusive of both adults and young people. A space of joyful reinvention.

Building upon the successes of her participative works “Worktable” and “In Many Hands”, New Zealand-born Kate McIntosh crafts yet another fully immersive and interactive environment. Adults un-accompanied by youths are warmly welcomed, alongside all independent-minded young people aged 10 and above, eager to explore their world.
