Notes on sensitive content and sensory stimuli<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Given the diversity of our audiences, we are aware that certain themes and representations in festival productions may evoke very different reactions depending on individual experiences and dispositions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help you make informed decisions in advance, we have decided to provide specific content notes. Themes identified by the festival team and\/or the artists as potentially sensitive include: physical, emotional, or sexualised violence, death, war, discrimination and nudity. Sensory stimuli may include intense lighting effects (e.g. strobe lights), total blacks, loud sounds (e.g. gunshots, sudden noises), stage fog, or similar elements as well as physical contact and interaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These notes are intended to give potential visitors the opportunity to decide for themselves whether they wish to engage with these themes and\/or whether a particular performance is suitable for them. Because content notes may reveal aspects of the production, we leave it up to each visitor to choose whether or not to read them. Health-related information that may be relevant is listed directly on the individual event pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production involves strong scents; at the beginning, a mixture of eucalyptus, mint, and orange is boiled, and disinfectants are used repeatedly. Additionally, there is a short but intense musical segment featuring loud sounds and singing.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Participants will wear VR glasses, move around the space and interact through light touch. There will be a teac ceremony before the performance \u2013 allergy information: black tea, ginger, laphsang suhsong, bamboo soot, licorice, honey, birch juice, birch wood, dried mushrooms, green tea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
