First and second-year students from the Department of Puppetry of the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, will showcase a variety of work formats from their programme – the collection includes hand puppet scenes, masked theatre, as well as material experiments and different manifestations which plead for a contemporary notion of puppetry.
After the performance, various theatre producers, students and teachers will gather for a creative exchange and explore new impulses for current and future projects.
During the 20. international figuren.theatre.festival, the Department of Puppetry of the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart moves their classes to Erlangen. All of the students will participate in the festival – spontaneous actions and encounters are to be expected.
